Exciting news-The Chapel in Ormskirk will be giving a residency to a new, vibrant theatre group when they reopen, hopefully later this year. Tenderfoot is an eco-focused theatre company based in Ormskirk, Lancashire. The company was founded in 2019 by Drama students and climate activists at Edge Hill University, during a historically significant summer of protests across the globe. We believe that theatre speaks, and what began as a few friends sharing a love of theatre has grown into a project of protest. We, like you, are angry, anxious, and desperate for change. So our mission is this - to create environmentally-mindful work using sustainable practices and use this work to raise awareness of the climate crisis.
