Wilde's Leatherwork

Hi, I’m Geoff.

 

I’m the maker behind Wilde’s Leatherwork. I make premium handmade leather goods designed to outlast the rest. Every item is crafted by myself in my hometown of Blackburn, Lancashire.

 

I started learning leatherwork in 2016 because I was sick of wasting money on cheaply made leather products that would fall apart after only a few months of use.

 

In 2020 I started Wilde’s Leatherwork, where I dedicated much of my time to perfecting the craft and designing my own items.

 

After my Grandad passed away, I inherited his leather belt. It was well worn yet still enduring after over 30 years of use. Both the durability of the belt and my Grandad's values of honest hard work have greatly inspired me ever since and been the driving force behind Wilde’s Leatherwork.

 

I am extremely grateful to be part of the Lancashire Makers team. There are so many talented artists and impressive works under one roof. I would highly recommend a visit; I can’t wait to visit more in the future!
