Seashell Sewing
Coming from a multi generational artistic family I grew up surrounded by art. I studied art at school and have since participated in workshops on patchwork, quilting and sewing.
I am currently making fabric pouches in different sizes and enjoy making these using fabrics that I have collected over the years. This combines my love of fabric, design and colour.
These handmade items are functional and unique as each bag is always slightly different. The fabrics are pieced and fusible fleece is added before quilting each item to add stitching detail to the exterior of the bag.
I am also keen to make other handmade fabric items and will be creating some of these in the months ahead. I am excited to be a member of Lancashire Makers & hope that those who have my work will enjoy using it.
