My name is Kerrie. My real job is a celebrant, so when I’m not conducting weddings and funerals I am either walking my whippet Daphne on the beach or painting. I started painting in lockdown as a way to chill out and I haven’t stopped since! I use acrylics and started painting on wood because I couldn’t get any canvas during lockdown and I love the organic feel that the wood provides. I now paint on canvases too.

I love painting our coastline here in Southport and Formby, I am slowly completing the coastal path in Anglesey and hope to paint every beautiful beach there. My absolute favourite place to paint is Ibiza. The light there is fabulous and the warm sunny weather helps too. I take commissions so if you have a favourite beach you would like me to paint, please contact me to discuss your requirements.

I started painting cards because I love the idea that somebody’s chosen my painting to send a happy message to somebody. That makes me really happy
